You thought I’d forgotten you didn’t you?!
I haven’t, it’s just been a crazy, crazy time here. There was a draft post (filled with apologies for neglecting the blog) all ready to publish last week, but then I had a wisdom tooth extracted and things went downhill from there. All of this culminated in a trip to the hospital on Wednesday night and thus I never got round to hitting that publish button!
Whilst traversing from bed to sofa and back again over the past week, and during my short forays into the big wide world, I have once again been overwhelmed by the kindness of both friends and strangers; The lady who gave up her early morning dental appointment so I could see the dentist without having to wait for hours, Nurse Rose who sorted me out a treat, cards and surprise packages from friends around the world, the random envelopes of bits from Mum, messages of support and general lovely, funny, everyday goings on in the virtual world, and of course Mr K who has been tracking the course of my swelling and bruising since the wretched tooth was removed.
All of this came after the January workload kicked my arse combined with filing the dreaded tax return, but it also reinforced just how much support I receive throughout the year from you, the knitting and crochet community, as you continue to purchase and even make (!!!) patterns I have written.
As a thank you for sticking with me and as an acknowledgment of your support, this weekend I am offering 25% off my small portfolio of self-published patterns when purchased through Ravelry. To receive the discount simply enter the code THANKYOU at the checkout. This offer will run until midnight GMT on Sunday 7th February 2016.
So if you need Reasons to be Cheerful whilst keeping Doctor Foster away, or have always meant to knit my ever popular POP! baby cardigan, then now is your chance to save a few pennies and cast on over the weekend.
Hopefully this is my return to blogging, especially as I have so much to tell and share with you about new books, patterns, yarns and then there’s that little fleece project I have going on in the background!
In the meantime, thank you everyone for sticking with me and my random ramblings and here’s to more of the same!
