Thank you so much everyone for the quite incredible response to the launch of my Daughter of a Shepherd logo last week. I was quite overwhelmed in the best possible way and your continuing support means the world.
I have managed to send my first newsletter out to subscribers. Sign up via this link for email updates about the yarn and other bits and pieces I think might be of interest to you.
Additionally, I also opened a Ravelry group for general chatter about my wool – do feel free to pop over and join us. I have been trying to answer as many of your questions as possible and will do a full round-up and post more information about the yarn as soon as I know more. There has been quite a lot of activity behind the scenes in the past 24 hours and it won’t be long before I can announce the next stage of the journey – yep, there’s more to come!
In the meantime, I am nursing my second cold in as many weeks, hoping the tooth isn’t in flare up again and paddling furiously underwater trying to keep afloat. Ah life, if it wasn’t so much fun it wouldn’t half be dull!
The latest instalment of The Knitting Goddess Golden Yorkshire sock club has been landing along with Rachel Coopey’s pattern and the recipe I write to accompany each package. I spent some time trying to capture the true colour of the yarn and it appears to be impossible. No matter what light you put it under it becomes a different colour and whilst the overall look is a khaki free, it can appears brown and even lilac – it’s very strange and very beautiful…and not quite the colour shown below!
I should finish get the last instalment finished first but I’m sure a new project will buoy my spirits no end.
